Your 21-day Family Caregiver's Challenge: Thrive into 2025!๐ŸŽ‰Day 17- "Read๐Ÿ“–!" "Just Read"! Why?

.............................

Why is reading considered self-care for Family Caregivers?

Being a Caregiver, working, and all that includes, the only "free" time you may have, you need it for sleep, right/!

Reading (whether in an audiobook๐ŸŽง, or playing while driving), expands your mind, and gives you a moment to learn and grow not just intellectually, but it takes you "away" to another world in your imagination; you explore different cultures, different experiences, and is a way of taking your mind away from the present challenges, even if just for a few minutes a day.

It can refresh your mind, entertain, and teach,. You may prefer reading autobiographies, thus delving into the challenges of another person, and perhaps getting ideas for how to manage your time and enjoy your journey.

Start with 5 minutes in the early morning or at lunch break, or if possible as a refreshing "night cap"- downtime.

Challenge....let your mind "escort" you to new lands and experience the mental freedom that reading can bring!๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’ฏ
