The Beginning, the first novel in the saga of Project MIL, is a journey full of adventures and discoveries with Ara, the main character, at full speed on Mat, her skateboard with special powers.
Ara is a restless and lively teenager who lives in the Pleiades Constellation. She lives alone like the kids of the four blocks district in her neighborhood. Ara's parents disappeared before she had any clear idea of what was happening. Tired of her daily life and looking for answers, she receives a mysterious invitation to travel to a distant planet known as MEP. Without hesitation, she stops her activities and saddly says goodbye to her students at the Potential Development School where she was training them for future missions.
With the company of Mat, Ara begins her journey to the Harmony Space Center. Along the way she will escape from a group of ruffians and will have an unexpected encounter with her future guide Sem. He will lead her through nine Sectors of the Space Center where unknowingly she will be programmed and conditioned for a crucial mission.
In a stopover in Orion Constellation, she will meet Xor, the ruler of the Dark Side and the Oracle Tex who will reveal the truth about her parents and warn her about Xor.
Before the final takeoff to MEP, each traveler must have made Twelve Helping Agreements with other travelers. Due to certain circunstances, Ara will leave without knowing if these Agreements will be for good or bad. Neither will know who will accompany her in the most crucial moments of her destiny or who she will have to help in return.
Different aspects of knowledge converge in this story, from sacred geometry to the processes of creation and transformation, which, in a simple and loving way, will make us live our own experience of entertainment, discovery and self-knowledge, bringing both joy and surprise.
