Day 16- what we can learn from animals ( especially cats!π) lol
Have you ever seen a dog or cat (especially), move without stretching , maybe grooming, then stretch some more, before they move off to do anything else?(sometimes especially when you call them!)
The lesson?- "DO NOT RUSH"- it just creates more anxiety and that helps no -one.
As a Family Caregiver, sometimes every minute is a rush, but what is a self-care technique we learn from animals?

Even if you take a few seconds mentally, or better yet physically- stretch!
Science still has no full explanation for this phenomenon, but stretching our muscles sets them for action, and also relaxes our brain and muscles, and you tend to feel more calm and ready for whatever demand comes your way.
Challenge yourself: do 3 days of intentionally stretching - on awakening, before you rush -leave in the comments! Did ya feel betterπ? I'd love to hear about your experience!
I'm going to stretch now after this post!ππΉπ
