GRIEF and LOSS: The discussion no one wants to talk about.
Sooo- Let's Talk!
Truly, this one was difficult- facing my own grieving; holding the space for others to grieve.
Death has been with us all as long as we know; grief is universall, yet most of us avoid it, or have been taught to "keep calm and carry on" -
That's NOT how it works.
Grief is messy, murky, discombobulating, terrifying and misunderstood- perhaps it is this misunderstanding and fear that can feel overwhelming and best "escaped".
Yet- HEALING, hope, community, cannot relieve us if we use escapism.
Emotions of Loss most well known- grief, anger, guilt, disbelief/denial ; ,acceptance.
There is no "tidy order" to our emotions, but the more we understand, the greater we can face grief and hold space for others.
Time is precious; let us not take each other for granted- a phone call, a short message, or simply passing by a friend's house to spend some time can make all the difference!💖
Reflecting on the impact of our friends in our lives, encourages us to prioritize what truly matters, fostering personal growth and a deeper appreciation for the present.
From my heart to yours always💗

Lana's Little Things #151- The Power of Grief in Our Lives- Self Reflection is Key!🤔🤔

🥲Attending a funeral is sad, even devastating, but it provides a unique opportunity for reflection on the brevity of life and the legacy we wish to leave behind. When we take the time to celebrate a life well-lived, we are inspired to live more intentionally, cherishing each moment and nurturing our relationships. 🤔
